Trying to figure this out.. any CPA's out there??

If someone makes 3,676.80 gross for the month and claims zero, how much is their bring home after taxes?

I think that it's possibley about 20-25% but I am not sure if that's the scale they go off of. There is a job that I applied for, that I am crossing my fingers I get, that pays pretty good and is a different city. I don't want to set myself up for dissapointment though. Would be nice to be able to pay all of my bills and on time for once.. hehehe

  • You have to consider State tax as well, but approx around $850 per week.

  • I usually figure they take about 25%. If you estimate high you won't find yourself in a pinch.

  • 222, in the state of TX we don't have state tax, which is a plus!! :0)

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well PartyGal.. If so, it's going to be a nice chunk of change!! Keepin fingers crossed that I may get it. I haven't heard back from them yet, but the closing date on the job has been moved back again!! darn it!!
