When you have phlegm like it feels in the back upper part of your throat, Do you try to spit it out? adult content

If possible...or do you swallow?

I am asking this very gross question bc I do not know what else to do.
It's easier for me to grossly swallow it bc it's sometimes hard to cough it out.

Does this mean I am not getting any better bc this stuff is going into my belly I'm sure.

Thx! :/

  • One of the grossest topics I have reserched, I have been fighting that, "I may toss my cookies" feeling since I read the question :(

Here's what I found, Swallowing isn't going to hurt you because you've already got the illness in your system.
    Some tricks for relief.
