do you no what could cause my dogs paws to be turning brownish red

The hair under the paw, and where his tear ducks are on one and my other miniture chihuhua on his paws

  • Saliva from licking paws and tears from their eyes. It's pretty common.

  • Try rinsing the paws off and drying them well to remove any irritants that keep the dogs licking. Do the dogs seem to be moving around all right?

  • Late to the party but also check his food. Foods with red dye can make discoloration happen or make it worse.
