I'm certified CNA and get a job because all agencys says I need experience.

How can I get any experience if they will not hire me.

  • My ex was certified as a CNA. Try the nursing homes. They're usually way short on staff and more lenient in their hiring policies, and once you get experience, you can move into the home health field or a hospital.

  • You also might look at care.com in the senior care section.....use the pulldown. I have seen ads there for CNAs.

  • Nurses have the same problems finding work. Just keep applying, there are jobs out there.

  • I wonder that about any job. How are you supposed to get experience if no one will hire you without it. Good luck!!
