UPDATE pg 2 - Urgent care more or doctor tomorrow?

Yesterday, my 3 year old said the cat bit her hand. I kissed her hand & didn't think anything of it. Now my mom says her hand is starting to get red & swollen. Do you think I should take her to urgent care tonight or wait & make an appointment with her doctor tomorrow?

  • Cat bites are nasty. Cats have a lot of bacteria in their mouths that can cause infection. I'd go tonight. Better safe than sorry.

  • Yep- I'd take her to urgent care if she were mine. Sounds like it could be getting infected.
