WHAT is the big deal?

with scentsy?

I took my son to the dentist yesterday, and there was a pile of scentsy booklets- so I picked one up to see what all they sell and honestly, I wouldn't buy a single thing in there!

do you buy it? do you know someone who sells it?
what's the big deal about it?

  • I never heard of it except for here. Never saw it IRL.

  • I have no idea - aren't they overpriced candles and scents?

  • I don't buy it, never have, although I do know someone who used to sell it. I have no interest in it. I like real candles.

  • I buy it because everyone I know sells it and I am a sucker and they know it! I bought it because I wanted to help friends out. I only have one warmer and then like 8 scents and a freshener thing for my car.

  • I don't do any synthetic scents, ever, because of migraines.

  • A friend bought my 16 yo son (with autism) a stuffed elephant (which is what he asked for last Christmas) with an opening in the back to stick in a scentsy packet, along with some extras. It was fresh linen scent. I love the way it makes his room smell all nice and clean rather than sweaty teen boy scented!

  • I buy it and know people who sell it. It is an alternative to candles. Scentsy is a cross between potpourri and candles. They are flameless and were a lot more popular before Walmart and craft stores started selling similar things for cheaper.

  • I don't do synthetic scents, either. All of us in the house are negatively sensitive to them, two of us react with migraine. It's not pretty. *sigh*

  • I buy a little here and there. I like scents but not candles.
