  • My kids are almost 10 and 6. We pay $10/hr on the rare occassion we go out and pay a babysitter.

  • I don't usually pay a babysitter except over a long weekend in July when my boyfriend and I get away, and then it's around $200 for a couple of days and nights. My daughter's nanna sometimes watches her overnight so my boyfriend and I can go to a concert or something, but I usually just give her a $30 gift card to Michael's or Village Inn.

  • 9, 10 year old kids and the sitting is occasional. We pay $12 an hour but we are definitely on the low end. I cringe to pay sitters 15/hour.

  • One 11 y/o child - $5.00/hour. It's basically 1 hr. daily/weekdays. (45 mins. before school & about 10-15 mins. after school)
