Potty training drama?!

He's a 2 year old, he understands.the concept about the toilet.but he won't go. He knows he isn't suppose to poop in his diaper, but still does. I've tried rewarding him while he's on the toilet & entertain him, he just doesn't like it. Sometimes he cries horrible & I just give in because I don't wanna scar him. Help? Is it still too early? Or he just isn't ready?

  • He's not ready. Wait a few months and try again.

  • He is too young, and you could be prolonging it rather than helping, he isn't supposed to poop in his diaper, why not that is what they are for, do some research, it isn't uncommon for boys esp to not be trained until well after 3.

  • Sounds too early for him.

Drama should never be associated with potty training.
