Hi, I am 46, has had tubes tied for 15 years have missed my period, last period was in july, could this be a pregnancy or is it menopause

  • Women can get pregnant after their tubes have been tied, but the risks of an ectopic pregnancy are high. Take a pregnancy test, and then call your OB.

    Or it could be early menopause. Or something else. Definitely call your dr either way.

  • I'm thinking menopause but why haven't you taken a pregnancy test yet? I had my last at 44 BTW. She was a happy surprise. GL in whatever you are hoping for.

  • I wish mine would go away...instead I have had it MORE this past 8 months or so...ugh (I'm 45)

    *but yeah, pregnancy IS possible- so check that out and talk to your doctor

  • Great question for your OB doctor. Take a test. If it's negative, I'd go with menopause.
