What age do boys no longer want super hero bedding?

My 11 year old stepson is almost 12 and I just wonder what age most kiddos want more "grown up ish" bedding that is not Marvel comics, etc. Any ideas? I asked him if he wants a new comforter and he didn't seem to know or care...

  • Then it does not matter to him. It varies with each child.

  • Depends on the kid. Ever see Big Bang Theory? Those guys still like their super hero stuff, right down to their undies! lol :p I know they're just TV characters, but still a fun example. I guess if he doesn't seem to care, then just let him be. He will let you know when he's ready for a change, or he could be like some guys who just don't care about such things.

  • Depends on the kid. Some want grown up stuff, some just don't care. DS is 8 and could care less what sheets he has. I could put pretty princess sheets on the bed and it wouldn't phase him.

  • Mine had moved towards sports themes about 6th or 7th grade. But it really doesn't matter...

When we got DS a new bed, DH hijacked his old superman sheets to use as a slipcover on his recliner
