Can a mother be in trouble if someone else calls cps on the father?

  • Yes, depending on what is happening, the mother can be charged with neglect if she is not protecting her child.

  • Yes and if she know something is wrong and needs to be reported she should get introuble, kids should be her first concern!

  • Yes. 1: if the mother knows that the father(even if she does not live with him) is harming her child or neglecting it and does nothing about it. 2: if she is living in the home with the father and he poses a risk to the child and she refuses to leave(such as he is abusing her) then she can lose the child.

  • Do they live in the same home? Was the mother present or had evidence of what ever was being called in? If she did not come forward and it is threatening/ harming her child, yes she can. She is an accomplice.
