  • You know decaf still has caffeine in it.  Just a small amount.

  • My doctor said I can have up to 200 mg of caffeine a day, which is about as much in a 12 oz cup of regular coffee.

  • In moderation, anything legal is acceptable, not counting marijuana in WA and CO.

Just double check with your doctor.

  • sure...i drank a large diet coke from sonic almost every day when i was pregnant with DD. caffeine is one of those things that some ppl over do, so they just tell all pregnant women to stay away from it. my dr always said one cup of coffee or caffeine equivalent is fine every day. ask your dr just in case tho.

  • Look for coffee that says it is naturally decaffeinated if you are going to drink it often. The coffee that isn't naturally decaffeinated, by running water or forced air, is often treated with acetone to remove the caffeine. Personally, I'd rather chance the caffeine over the acetone, pregnant or not.
