When did your breasts start leaking?

I just started leaking the clear fluid almost a week ago and I'm 15.5 Weeks along. When did you guys start?

  • I'm going to become a milk cow, so I started looking into places that I could donate excess milk to for mothers who don't produce enough milk

you are not doing this before baby born are you?
this is not what you do

  • Just because you are leaking now doesn't mean you will have excess later.

  • My aunt is a nurse and laughed and said that its because I have really large breasts (they were 34h or 34 I depending on brand pre-pregnancy and have grown a lot since) and said that I'm going to become a milk cow, so I started looking into places that I could donate excess milk to for mothers who don't produce enough milk, or good milk for their babies who either don't take formula well or want a more natural substance. I was told it's normal, I just don't know anybody else that really started the leaking and whatnot before they were almost due. Even my doctor laughed and said that I may want to get a mini fridge with a freezer and start storing when I give off real milk. Just curious about who else has experienced this or anything similar. :) I don't mind it, its like the baby is reminding me that he/she is there before I start getting kicks.

  • It's one thing to leak, but I wouldn't start pumping. I'm not sure that's a good idea.

  • I'm just leaking, not pumping. Don't even own a pump yet. My doctor said that when I'm further along, if I start straight flowing milk I should consider it.

  • I'm not stupid, iI know that pumping early is bad.

  • Also, you can totally donate milk after you give birth if you are producing more than your baby needs or wants. Helping other people if I'm set ISNT a bad thing.
