Colds are the worst, Bandgeek. So to help you feel better, I'm starting a virtual care basket for you. I'm putting in my grandma's version of a hot toddy. When any of us grandkids got sick, she'd bundle us up on the couch under every blanket she could rustle up, and give us this hot drink so we'd "sweat the cold out." I don't know if it worked medically, but it was a big comfort anyway and it would put us right to sleep. The drink was hot lemon tea with a smidge of ginger and a dab of honey stirred in. Then my grandma added a bit of brandy, just enough to give the drink a kick, and a few specks of Cayenne pepper--again, just enough for a kick.
So, who else wants to add their remedies or good wishes? Feel better, BG!
