  • Probably. If they find out she is pregnant. They will put an alert out to all hospitals. It really just depends on how they are between now and then. Obviously they don't seem to want the 3 year old back.

  • depends on why the took the 3 year old, you can as family ask to have the child put in your care and you can try to get the 3 year old as well since you are family so that he isn't in the "system".

  • It depends on the situation.
This is what I can tell you. Their records are private and you may have no access to them.
If you are thinking that you might wish to adopt her child you will have to talk to CPS and see what you might have to do. They will not tell you if it will result in you getting th baby only the step needed if the child is taken away. In some states the parents can still specify if they absolutely do not a certain person to adopt their child, but again how much weight that holds depends on the situation.

Bottom line is your only source of information is the neice and if she chooses not to tell you or anyone else, she does not have to and there is nothing you can do about it.

  • sorry that should be sister in law.

  • Typically, if the mother isn't cooperating with whatever plans have been put in place to get her first child back, CPS will take any more children she gives birth to. An alert will be put out to all hospitals in the vicinity. If you or someone in your family wants to be considered as potential foster parents for the baby, you need tomake that known to CPS now.

  • Depends on why they took the 3 year old in the first place. Likely since she is not cooperating they will at the very least be watching her like a hawk though.
