  • Took it until 36 weeks gestation then he stopped injecting me. It does help maintain a pregnancy. What did your doctor suggest??

  • He suggested to stop completely but I read if you stop completely you can miscarry because of the sudden drop. He want me to stop completely at 11 weeks..

  • I would keep going until after the 12 week mark. After the first trimester chances of miscarriage drop. Of course due to MY body I had to supplement throughout the pregnancy. My doctor always said you can never have too many hormones.

  • Yes you are correct a sudden drop can cause you to miscarry. If you stop, wean yourself. Cutting cold turkey is NOT the best idea. (From personal experience)

  • I would be prescribed progesterone if I could manage to get pregnant again, after having lost three in a row, and I would follow my doctor's advice.
