Job interview

When you go on a job interview, do you ask how much is the salary if it was not posted in the ad? Is that rude to do???

  • Well they cant expect you to work at a job without knowing the pay. I would make it one of the last questions though, definitely not the first thing you ask.

  • And let them name a number first.

  • I hve never been to n interview that they di not ask me what salary range I was looking to receive. I do not think that it is rude. Often it depends on experience and so the salary varies.

  • Hopefully they will bring it up, but you can ask what range the pay is in, but make it one of the last things. Sometimes in a first interview pay may not be discussed.
