Anyone else have to break down & turn on the heat yet? *EDIT*

I've held off as long as I could. I closed the storm windows when I got home today & it's still 65 degrees in the house. Hubby is putting in a new furnace filter as we speak b/c it's time to fire it up. I hate this time of year. What about you?

  • HA! My heat has been on for about 2 1/2 weeks or more, we had a HUGE snow storm on Oct 4th, it's been on since a little before that.

  • We turned the heat on in our room for a couple of hours last night. Hubby and I both have been feeling a little blah, and our room is always the coldest.

  • We have a few times, but more out of comfort and me not wanting to have to put on a sweater in the morning lol, but only downstairs.

Growing up the highest the furnace was allowed to be at was 65 degrees. When I moved out I would crank up my heat, now I'm more like my mother lol.
