  • I'm glad that for once they are saying less instead of lying to fill air. I've seen a few updates, but all were intentionally vague (that or Nevada cops are better at not leaking half-assed info)

  • Looks like teacher was murdered and one student (they put suspect in the last update - so who knows) is dead. Two other teens were shot, one is doing well and the other is in surgery.

Should be interesting to hear the story behind this.

Yes there were. There have always been school shootings. What we didn't have was 24/7 real time news coverage of them.

  • Well, since the entire article is all of three sentences long, I think I'll wait for more information.

  • What is wrong with our children? There weren't school shootings when I was a kid. Suicides, yes but not this need to make others "pay" before killing yourself.

  • @ jeanclaudia... The earliest known United States shooting to happen on school property was the Pontiac's Rebellion school massacre on July 26, 1764, where four Lenape American Indians entered the schoolhouse near present-day Greencastle, Pennsylvania, shot and killed schoolmaster Enoch Brown, and killed nine or ten children (reports vary). Only three children survived.
