  • Let her raid your closet and see what she can create. Of course you can veto the really good stuff that you don't want to risk being in the hands of a 12 yo, but you might be surprised at how well she will probably take care of your things, esp. if the raiding is a treat.

  • I wanted my DD to dress as a punk rocker. She nixed that quickly. She would have been super cute though.

  • If all elsefails, she can dress as a baby. Pajamas, a stuffed animal, maybe an old bottle or teething toy.

  • Static cling: wear all black and pin odd socks and dryer sheets to random spots.

    Bubblegum machine: cut a hole in the bottom of a black garbage bag and cut out holes for the arms. Blow up various colored balloons and tape all over garbage bag.
