  • Id would just bring one mutual one. I would think anyone would understand that buying two can be hard for a family. I wouldnt be offended or even care in the least if i was the birthday childs parents

  • one mutual or you can do 2 smaller gifts if you want.

I'd probably do 2 smaller gifts just so each kid can be like "That's from me!" :) plus kids count # of presents anyways so the recipient will probably enjoy 2 more than 1

  • I would do either one for what you would normally spend or two for half the price so you aren't spending a ton. It won't really matter. I would do one toy but either way works.

  • One mutual seems fine to me. Or maybe have each child pick out something really inexpensive to give together as one gift (example: a Barbie and some outfits to go with it...do people even give Barbies as gifts anymore??? Ora couple boxes of Legos) or something.

  • I always do just one. My kids are often invited to birthday parties together. It's pointless (and seems to encourage greed, IMO) for both kids to take a gift. One mutual gift is enough.

  • One mutual gift. If you set a budget for gift giving, do not be afraid to go over a lttle what you spend for one gift.
