How do you spend your kids' nap time?

I use it to shower (if I didn't get the chance before they got up), clean up around the house, put away toys (so my house doesn't feel taken over). Lol, I try to get as much on my list done as possible while still having some time for myself. It's amazing what you can get done in 2 hours when you try. Today I will attempt to clean windows, take a shower, wash cabinets, and organize pantry, possibly start a new book.

  • my youngest is going thru that "not gonna nap anymore" stage but i still make him go to his room for an hour or two everyday...gotta preserve my sanity! i usually eat lunch and do homework. not much time for anything else. if i feel up to putting off my homework i'll play piano.

  • Naps are a sweet and distant memory in this house. I used to tidy up, try to get some proofreading work done, maybe start figuring out dinner.

  • Sadly, my kids don't nap anymore. And, it's been long enough since they did that I don't really remember what I did.

  • So far in 30 minutes I have showered, washed windows, picked up toys, and had a conversation with the neighbor. Now it's some lunch, and DS isn't even asleep yet. Probably won't get the other things done in my list until tis evening, but I can relax a bit.

  • Oh I fondly remember naptime even tho it's been a while. Back when I got that precious time, I would get things done around the house & even get a few minutes of shut eye myself. Enjoy it while it lasts.
