Im in a relationship but I feel single

Almost like he's not there..
he's so independent and when Im sad or glad he cant really tell or doesnt say much
Have you ever felt this?

  • Yes. And we sat and talked about it for a long time. He was honestly clueless about a lot of my feelings until I told him, which makes sense because he's not a mind reader! Now I'm just more direct and it helps. Don't let it stay like that, it's the worst feeling you could have. If it doesn't change or is not something he works on, ask yourself if that's what you want for the rest of your life. Might be time to move on....

  • When you say "independent", do you mean not attentive to you, or not spending enough time with you? If you are not happy about how things are going, you have 1 of 2 choices. You talk to him & see if things can be worked out or improved upon, or you chalk this up as a learning experience & move forward w/out him.

  • It's normal to feel that way now and then, but if it's all the time, and if you've brought it to his attention with no positive results, then you might be better off single. You'd at least have the possibility of something better in the future then.
