Homemade bird feeder craft ideas?

How would you make one? Maybe a soda or water bottle with holes and sticks for perches?

Any better ideas?

  • Pinecone spread with peanutbutter then rolled in bird seed. I bet your DD would love to help make that one!

  • Tessie took my idea! DS and I made those a few years ago and he had a blast doing it.

  • That sounds fun! I will have to find a pine cone!

I am not on pinterest.... I am afraid. I am SO not crafty- I'd be worried to ruin everything!

  • You can still search things on Pinterest even if you don't have an account. Just google pinterest bird feeder ideas.

I've made the pinecone PB / seed feeders with the kids. I think the squirrels love those as much as the birds. I've even seen a fox try to give it a go, but it was too high up for him to reach.
