Helping a 4 yr old boy stand up and pee

There are no males in my life to help. Mysin is fully potty trained but sits ti pee.He has peed standing up once or twice because I had to force him. He typically resists doing it the boy way. Tried cheerios and he got the box and dumped them all in the toilet lol I thought of hribing him, it worked for potty training, to get him to stand up.Ideas?

  • I would not force him to do anything and It is not a problem for males to sit when they pee.

  • Why can't he sit to pee?
He's too short to use a urinal anyway

  • I thought of finding images how how big boys pee...you know how there are diagrams for us on how to insert a tampin...there has to be some educational thing like that for boys to pee. I just kinda want to make sure he knows how.

  • If he sits or stands he already knows how.

  • Again I allow him to sit and pee. He's my only kid and just dnt know when he should be able to do this. I don't want to be behind in something because I didn't know.

  • just let him sit. He will figure it out eventually. It's not that critical.

  • Why would you try to force him to stand up? My son sits to pee sometimes, it isn't a big deal. He will eventually figure it out.
