Not dressing up my baby for Halloween

I am going to have her in a carrier anyways, she is going to wear a onesie with a orange tutu and it says I love halloween.

That's acceptable right? She doesn't have to be an elephant or a hot dog. She doesn't walk or eat candy.

  • Sounds sane to me, and actually the outfit sounds festive too. That's a nod to the whole dressing up/costume thing.

  • I did pretty much the same thing when DD was a baby. She was only about 4 months old for her first Halloween, so I put her in an orange sleeper that had pumpkin eyes and a smile on it. It was dark when we were walking around with DS anyhow, nobody could even see her since she was in the stroller.

  • It sounds like you have a great plan. No, she doesn't have to be all dressed up as a fluffy whatever. If she's comfortable, she'll be content for a longer time, giving your older one more time to trick-or-treat.

  • Sorry, baby's got a butterfly outfit for her 1st Halloween :P But, she can walk, LOL, not that I would make her walk that much...

*Sigh* I still don't even know if we're going or not. Kids are NOT behaving today :/
