Eating your kid(s) TorT candy...yay or nay?

in my class tonight i joked with some mom friends that i couldnt wait to see what my kids get TorTing so i can take my "share". i said it with a laugh, but i do sneak a piece or two of theirs. they looked at me like i was the devil. i figured sneaking candy was part of the joy of being a parent at Halloween.

so do you dip your hands into your kids candy buckets?

  • Heck yeah! I tell my son he has to wait until I "check" the candy for poison and razor blades, and I have to test a few pieces.

  • It's called a mommy tax! But seriously some of the candy my kids got could be choking hazard, especially for my DD, so I can't let it go to waste, right?
