Why do Employees at the Thrift Store wear gloves?

I went this past weekend & noticed this while they were putting out clothes. Any ideas?

  • My BFF volunteers at a thrift store in FL
She has come across every form of bodily fluid and every form of vermin in the donations

  • Bed bugs, boldily fluids, etc. They don't wash anything before it's put on the racks!

  • Because people are disgusting pigs and you never know what kind of nastiness is on the clothing. There could be blood, cum, vomit, poop, urine ect... I mean would you want to touch that kind of stuff?

*Shudder.* Maybe the thrift stores should hand out free gloves for the customers!

  • I just went shopping at our local Goodwill. Not the nice one... the yucky one by my house. I felt dirty from being in there. I washed my hands for like 5 minutes and washed to clothes I bought twice with hot water. ::shudders:: If only I did not have to shop there.

  • Do you think the department stores are any different? Germs and fluids can be anywhere.
