2 Bumps

I forgot too take the chicken out for dinner, is it ok too take strait from the freezer too the stove? Making chicken Tacos and I need too boil my chicken ..... What do y'all think?

  • I would defrost in the microwave first. Boiling chicken from frozen can cause food poisoning. Like putting frozen chicken in the crockpot, the outside meat defrosts quickly, but the inside meat takes longer to defrost and can be at an unhealthy temperature for too long.

    I know my mother used to do it all the time, but knowing what I know, I wouldn't take the chance.

  • I cook forensic chicken all the time. Just make sure it's not pink in the middle. Cut it up to make sure it cooks through. It's fine.
