What size cake pan do i use?

So my middle daughter is turning 6 and I want to make her a cake . I want to make it a 2 tier cake. Im estimating enough for 25-30 people. What size pans ?

    I would do a 6 in on top and 8 in on bottom depending on how big of pieces you will be serving.

  • Bottom layer a 12" round and top a 9 " round.
    That is a guess. Does it come with directions?

  • ive bought a round cake from the bakery before and the cake was more then enough for 30 people it didn't look that big . No , no directions im just making it from my lil head haha ill post a pic of baby shower cake I just don't know the size of it, ive only made the regular standard 9 inch cake pans..
