Do you allow homophobes to watch your child?

The kind of attitude like the one expressed earlier, that you can never be too careful because there are more gays around than ever. Would you trust your child's mental and emotional wellbeing to someone who has no problems saying things like that?

  • No, I wouldn't . I'm raising my children to not be racist or homophobic. Novel concept, I know.

  • no I would not, and if that poster would pay attention to the WORLD she would see that most predators are family, friends, neighbors and OMG TEACHERS and PRIESTS

  • I have some extended family who are borderline homophobes, (which drives me bat shit crazy) BUT they would never, ever say anything that cruel and narrow minded. They are usually pretty good about keeping their lame opinions to themselves. And no I wouldn't want my children around someone so ignorant, and mis informed. Data shows that the biggest group of sexual deviants, the child rapists, etc are HETEROSEXUAL MALES!!!!

  • Oh I saw that but I guess I missed a vital part, lol. Thanks.

To answer your question, I did not allow many people to watch my children and they are grown with children of their own now.
The people who did, though, were people I trusted with my child on an individual basis. It did not matter whether the were straight or gay, male or female, or any color or religion, it was the person that I trusted not a stereotype.

  • Yikes man. I missed that. I have so many gay friends I just cannot relate at all.

  • IKR KT, I would not allow her in the same room with my kids

  • Are there really homophobes around anymore? I mean, with all those gay pedophiles running around these days, are there any non-gay people left in this world?
