  • Humidifier or steam up the bathroom really well and sit in there for a while. We use Vicks humidifier for my son (he is congested all the time). We also give him children's Allegra twice a day (though I would check with your doc on that for doses). My almost 2 year old weighs 26 lbs and takes 2 ml twice a day.

  • Blow nose frequently. Hot steam from a shower or run a bath with the hottest water you can and read to her in the bathroom until the water is cooled off enough for her to get in. Soup, tea.

  • Hello, you can turn the hot water on your in bathroom from the sink and tub faucets. Then take the child into the bathroom and place him/her on your lap and use the steam from the bathroom as vaporizer . The steam should help in releasing the congestion. I highly recommended that you contact the child's pediatrician right away.

I hope this helps.......from one grandmother to another one take care!!!!
