Did you let your 1 year old get a FLU shot?

I've been very hesitant and exhausting my research. What are your experiences and thoughts?

  • Hell no. None of my kids have ever gotten the flu shot, and neither have I. The only reason my husband gets one is because he HAS to cuz of his job.

  • No. Not since 2006 after that they added the h1n1 etc. & I have two family members that became ill from it, my Mother became bed ridden for 3 days after & my 3 year old cousin was rush to the ER after it 2 years ago.

  • No flu shots in MY house either.

When I was in the military it was mandatory. Every year I got sick. I got out, I stopped getting sick every year. My husband is the same way. My kids are shaping up to be the same as well. They miss MAYBE a week of school every year due to illness. That's in a bad year too.

Annual flu shots and the HPV "vaccine" are the ONLY things that I decline.

  • i did and i regret it

IF you do get flu shots, know that many flu shots still have thermerisol
if they are 'batch' flu shots they have it
when clinic orders, sometimes they get batch flu shots, as i understand it, they come in a large amount, not individual and hence the added perservative. you need to ask, and TRUST the info you get, i asked ped, he said no thermerisol (they do not make vaccines with it anymore) he is 100% wrong

daughter got huge reaction, then lost many functions, then took her to PhD in autism- yup, autism
she was talking before she could walk, this all went away and did not say her name until 3.5
    she lost more than speech

if you choose to do flu shot, make 200% sure not a batch flu shot, they should be able to tell you exact brand- and you can check on internet what is in. also never any shot when ill or just getting over illness, and spread those shots out, never more than one at a time (IMO)
