Am I suppose to ovulate with the IUD in?

I have been ovulating for three days and its color is milky yellow like I blew my nose. is that normal?

  • Yes, you still ovulate. The IUD irritates the uterine wall so that an egg , if fertilized, cannot attach to it.
    You do not ovulate for DAYS. You just release one egg.
    Maybe you have a yeast infection.

  • yes it's not like bcpills you still ovulate your egg can still get fertilized but the egg never attaches

  • Ovulation mucus should be clear,stringy,and plentiful
    That sounds like an infection

  • Depends on the type of IUD whether you ovulate or not. With a copper IUD, you ovulate. With Mirena, you don't.
