Love is not the end all, cure all!

Too many people use love as an excuse! But, I love him or but, I know he loves me. News flash, you can and should walk away from someone you love or who loves you if it is not a healthy environment for one or both of you to be in! I understand following your heart but damn, we have brains and should use them! Just sayin!

You can pass along this video from my friend's sister after her death. She is explaining to the Women's Safe House how to see the early warning signs, etc...

  • Love actually MAY be the end all, cure all, but the problem is that people get confused about what love is. Many times the content of what's being called love in those "but, I love him/but, I know he loves me" situations fits the profile of dysfunctional need, emotional enmeshment, codependence.
