I keep having contractions 3-5 apart andthe Dr's keep sending me home...they just sent me away and didnt even checkme and im 40 weeks!!!

  • Yeah, sorry but there's no way they didn't check you. You either made this for attention or they have checked you and you are not progressing so they sent you home. Remember, most of us have had babies and know how this kind of thing works.

  • You're better off at home during the early stage of labor anyway. I'd recommend getting on your hands and knees--like if you were to wash the floor by hand--and try to get your baby into optimal position for birth. If the baby's posterior, your contractions are not going to get strong enough and regular enough for labor to progress.

    Take this time to eat (if you can) and stay really well hydrated. And rest!
