My kindergartner learned about the Pilgrims in school today. She was telling her dad and me over dinner how they weren't the first ones here, and how when they came on their boat, they didn't have TV's or phones or electric lights, and football stadiums and hot dogs and candy hadn't been invented. And they had the first Thanksgiving. We talked about what she would take on a boat if she went on a long trip--food and water and such. I was impressed, but then she said, "So Mom, were you a Pilgrim?"
I guess I get around pretty good for an old lady, huh?

Next question overall
How do you make yourself accept your stepson if he is spoiled and disrespectful.
