Not sure if this is normal because I never noticed it with my first daughter

Starting a few days ago my stomach didn't look as out there it wasn't as high is what I mean. I've suddenly had to pee a ton more and can feel a lot of pressure when walking a lot. I know she's head down my OB checked yesterday but her movements suddenly changed a few days ago as well. Could she have dropped already? I'm only 31weeks.

  • Sounds like she has, or shifted position.

  • Very possible.... and they can still flip back and forth from head down to breech at this point.

  • Every baby is different and every pregnancy is different. Some babies never do "drop" before labor starts. Just hang in there and try to enjoy your last 9 weeks of pregnancy!

  • Yes it's normal. Sometimes you notice and sometimes you don't. I had this maternity shirt with a teddy bear on it. Loved it and wore it often. One day I noticed the bear's tummy wasn't as round and his feet were huge. Otherwise I wouldn't have known she dropped.

  • Haha!! Wish I had shirts that fit me better. They all slide up now and can't fit over my belly. It feels so uncomfortable now, like she could fall out at any second.
