  • Any topical things like Ora-gel should help. Ask your Dr., but I believe you're allowed to take OTC Tylenol. Also ask if Novocaine used by the dentist would hurt the baby, b/c that's what they'd use to repair your tooth. Why suffer another whole month if you don't have to?

  • You need to go to a dentist. When you are having your baby makes no difference. The last thing you need for you unborn baby is for this tooth to abscess and introduce sepsis into your blood stream.

  • This is called a dental emergency. You need to go. If it gets infected it will be worse.

  • You can absolutely go to the Dentist & you should or else you & the baby may get sick from the infection. It will also interfere with your delivery. GL!

  • Why can't you go to the dentist? That's just stupid... You could end up with an abscess or a nasty infection if you don't get that taken care of. GO TO THE DENTIST BEFORE YOU END UP NEEDING ANTIBIOTICS AND PAIN MEDS!!!!!

  • You NEED to go to the dentist, as stated above. An infection can kill your unborn baby.

  • It's not something you can wait on. You need to be seen by a dentist.

  • You can go to the dentisit, my SIL broke her front tooth 2 days before she delivered, as a matter of fact it is probably more important you go to the dentist BECAUSE you are pregnant, and don't want to get an infection.

  • Pregnant women are allowed at dental offices. They may not perform any surgery on you this late in the game but they can atleast give you antibiotics and safe pain medication.
