  • vanilla yogurt makes a fine dip for fruit.
Vanilla yogurt mixed with a little PB, honey and cinnamon is good for apples and pretzels.

  • low fat yogurt still has sugar but it is just for dipping fruit in so not much is needed in a sitting. This makes it a better choice form the cream cheese and pudding based dips you often see in recipes. Just serve the yogurt with the fruit in small portions.

  • Mix plain (unxseetened) nonfat yogurt with some fresh berries or bananas in the blender or food processor the fruit will sweeten the yogurt without adding any refined sugar or artificial sweeteners. I've also added honey if you're not avoiding that.
