  • Ok. This isn't cafemom the handout site. Try calling your local department of human resources , Salvation Army ect... Most deadlines are coming up or passed for getting help.

  • Goodwill might help?
if they do not have handouts, things are very inexpensive there

a women's shelter may help (even if you are not abused) they might not, but worth a try, they might have resources you can call and ask about some help

    good luck
next year try to pick things up months before
even on a tight budget, when i go to goodwill or rummage sales and see something that mine would like, i get and hide away in a drawer, then when holidays come i am not scrambling , these do not have to cost much, just so she has things to open

  • It might be getting too late, but call or check out the websites of your local TV and radio stations and ask about their Christmas programs. Also see if your local newspaper has a Santa Fund or something similar. Go to your town hall, fire department, police department, local churches, and Chamber of Commerce to inquire about programs. Call your county offices or see their website. Plus Google "Christmas charities" and the name of your location and see what is available like Toys for Tots, etc. GL
