  • Make a giant collage with them using a poster sized frame. There are some ideas at Pinterest as well.

  • We've always recycled Christmas cards into gift tags for the next year, just write the to and from yourself. Some you can cut up into multiple tags, others we just cut around the main picture using pinking shears. There are scrapbooking scissors with all kinds of designs you can use, too.

  • I go through them every year & save the ones I like or the one's from my Family. I have a bunch saved too. I like the idea of making tags with them. I made some ornaments. I glued the parts I liked to tiny wooden boxes then glittered the edges. I want to get a zig zag scissor to cut tags now!

  • My Mom kept all my birthday and Christmas cards when I was little and used the Christmas cards as Christmas tree ornaments! She saved the front and cut it into a star or reindeer. Still have them to this day! I always thought it was cool and look forward to seeing it every year on the tree!

  • Recycle them, I guess. That's the main reason don't send cards. I don't know what to do with the ones I get. Seems a waste.

  • Check with a local nursing home. Often times they need things for craft projects. There are lots of things they can do with them and appreciate getting donations.
