  • why would you want to break your water?
if you did, it would not bring on labor necessarily, but would place your child in danger

  • Breaking your water before you have started labor will only put you and the baby in danger... You gotta keep in mind, Doc's break your water AFTER you have went into labor NOT before and in a controlled setting.. And PP is correct, it is dangerous. A small piece of the cord could come out with the fluid and cut off oxygen to your baby.. Of course I have dumbed down my info for you..

The baby will come when its ready, and 9 months is really a short amount of time compared to the lifetime you will have with this child !!!

  • You don't. It either happens naturally, or a DOCTOR does it at the hospital.

  • You don't. You let it break naturally. That means when it's ready to break not when you are ready for it to break. The end point is a HEALTHY baby in a SAFE way.

  • Your Body does it Naturally. There is nothing you can do.

  • Well the longer the kid is inside you the less tired you are going to be!
Water breaking isn't the "sure" sign of labor, contractions are.

  • I hope your not stupid enough to actually try and break your own water. Let your baby stay and come out when he or she us ready

  • You don't. To do otherwise is a medical risk. If you are so selfish that you would risk something now, then motherhood should be a real eye opener for you.
