I got my nipples pitced 4 months ago and i am a month pregnant my nipples are sore right now cause of the pregnancy and pircings but is it safe to keep them in or will they rip out or something?

They hurt but i really wanna keep them

  • You CAN breastfeed with the jewelry as long as they are secured tightly. The only hazard is choking with the jewelry- you can still lactate. That being said I took mine out at 12 weeks pregnant.

  • I had mine done, my body rejected them because I'm allergic to most metals but about 15-16 weeks along my nipples started leaking and about a month ago they even started leaking from the scars that are left from the nipple rings I had 4 years ago! I find it nasty

  • I wouldn't keep them in. Then again I would never have done it in the first place. You will probably have to remove them when you give birth anyway. If they are completely healed you should be ok, if not well you might want to consult a doctor if you have any kind of pain or infection.

  • They're safe to keep in but you might want to consider new jewelry.
