  • Two quarts = 16 cups. Take whatever liquid measuring cup you have and fill it with water. Pour it into whatever sized round casserole dish you have and repeat counting how many cups it takes to fill your particular dish.

Then write that down on a sticky label and stick it on the inside door of the cabinet where you store that casserole dish. Then you will always have the answer if you should forget!

  • Depends on how deep it is. Does your casserole dish not have it's unit of measure on the bottom of the dish?  Here is a link that might help:

  • Usually on the bottom of the dish, they stamp it with the size. You might need to use a magnifying glass to read it. Turn yours upside down and look for the small print or indented into the ceramic.

  • 2 quarts = 8 cups. There are 4 cups in a quart.
