Cute Mary... names that don't sound like nuns?

I like Mary combo names but many seem a bit dated ie...Marilyn or sound like nuns.

So any ideas for good ones?

  • My best friend just named her baby Juliet Mary Mildred C....

I think it is the cutest! It is kinda old sounding but in a quaint way.

  • I have a friend whose younger daughter is Mary Grace or MG (never just "Mary")

Mary Jane is such a classic. It was so dated for long enough that it's probably "fresh" by now.

Mary Louise (Mary Lou) or Mary Ellen

I think Mary Alice is particularly nice.

  • I work with a girl named Mary Kate. Her actual name is Mary Catherine with is SUPER nun-ish but Mary Kate isn't so bad. She does get asked where Ashley is every 5 seconds though.....
