Ok so I want to make some cream biscuits for tonight, the recipe uses All purpose flour and baking powder. I do have whole wheat flour but I didn't like the consistency I got when I used it to make the pie dough so I would rather not use it.
I also have some self rising flour...if I was to use that instead and omit the baking powder(recipe calls for 2 cups flour and 1 tablespoon of baking powder) or just some of it do you think it would work? If it flops I could make it with the whole wheat and have enough time to do so, but would rather the self rising.
What do you think?
