  • Sunday, we had thanksgiving with my family. My brother has a DS who is about 7-8 months older than my DD who is almost 19 mos. Well, we've taken her pacifier away, but she saw my nephew's pacifier and literally chased him around my sister's house trying to take it away from him. When you have more than one toddler in the house it is bound to be pretty entertaining. They also fought over his shoes. My DD will try to wear anyone's shoes. We had a really good time. We also had 2 other Thanksgiving meals, one last night with my DH's grandmother and one today with the inlaws. I've finally got my kitchen clean too. I feel like I've been cooking since Saturday. On the bright side, I have leftover snickerdoodle poke cake and cheesecake pudding in my fridge.

  • Hmm, DS gagged on my sweet potato casserole. Oh wait, you said good stories. DH bought pie. I'm going to have some now.

  • Here's a little vent- I put down extra wee wee pads while we were away & wouldn't you know, our dog went right in between them!

  • I'm in Canada so we had our Thanksgiving last month witch I think is awesome it gives us time in between turkey and family and also time to save more money before Christmas.

  • My best friend tried to kill herself, she's in icu now. I'm so pissed at her, she's being a selfish bitch right now and I'm ready to punch her in the throat.

  • A while ago, there was a pic going around of SpaghettiO cupcakes with Velveeta frosting. DS dared his cousin (she has a cake business) to make them. She said she'd make them if he ate them. We now have over a dozen leftover Spaghetti-O cupcakes. Some people did like them. I am not one of them. Not remotely.

  • I'm sorry, FFL, that blows. NP, that sounds nasty.

We all had a really fun, relaxing day. Lots of food, and a houseful of teenagers, except me and my boyfriend, our daughter, and the good friend who did most of the cooking. Just eing around all that energy wore me out, but it was a blast seeing all those kids dote on my daughter. Now she and her big brother are watching football and building some Star Wars ship out of Legos. They have a great time together. They're eating chocolate pie. I'm sleepy from eating turkey and trying to get motivated to proofread part of a math book, but I really should just give it up for the night because interest has left the building.
