How do i get a soldier's address if he won't give it to you to start child support?

who do I contact or talk to? Please help

  • Your local child support agency can find that out for you. If he's in the service, that shouldn't be too difficult for one govt. agency to contact another govt. agency. All you probably need is his name & ssn.

  • that's what I thought but I was told it is up to me to find out his address or my case would be droped

  • Get a lawyer. They will get it for you.

  • not anymore he just moved from ga and he is heading to fort Irwin california

  • Your local recruiting office would be a resource to try. Call the chain of command in Ft. Irwin and find him. You have lots of resources through the military, you just need to make some phone calls.

  • Tell child support that he's stationed at ft. Irwin. They can't tell you they won't help you, that's a flat out lie and they won't drop your case. As long as they have his social and name they will track him down.
