Anyone else taking a break from turkey?

Recipe: contains more profanity than exact measurements, still works.

Not trying the plantains yet, just the pernil and beans n rice

  • Nope! We have had turkey quesadillas w/ cranberry sauce and sage, Turkey sandwiches with gouda cheese and tonight is turkey nachos! Tomorrow night is turkey casserole and then finally Italian turkey soup.

  • 1) the fucker is, indeed, good
    2) tried a new trick - shredding meat with the kitchen aid using the paddle attachment - was SO much faster than shredding with forks.

    Grilled up some tortillas and turned half of our pernil into carnitas
